DDL are able to supply dogs that can search for people
lost in remote or deeply vegetated areas or fleeing felons in similar
circumstances.
Utilising the dogs natural ability to search we are able to
train dogs to track where humans have walked.
These dogs are trained to 'pick-up' the scent of where
the 'missing person' was last thought to be and are then
able to follow the track to lead the handler to the
missing or absconded person.
These dogs are trained to 'pick-up' tracks that are numerous hours old
and then still be able to find the victim, whether
it be across open fields, through dense vegetation or
even on a concrete surface.
Once the dog finds the 'target track' the dog will ignore any other
tracks that it comes across.
